The Honorable Jack Buechner, Policy Specialist, Former Member, U.S. House of Representatives

A former U.S. representative from Kirkwood, MO, Jack Buechner served Missouri’s 2nd district from 1987-1991.  During his terms, he was Vice Chairman of the Republican Study Committee and Deputy Whip.  Mr. Buecher also served on the Budget Committee and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.  He is the Immediate Past President of the United States Former Members of Congress Association and serves on its Executive Committee.  He has also served as president of the Presidential Classroom, a civics education program for high schoolers.  Among his diverse achievements, Mr. Buechner was the first Member of Congress to appear on “The David Letterman Show.”
